Kraken Blood Weed
This mottled black and green seaweed has jagged, tooth-like fronds, which ooze a reddish-green sap. The sap causes painful blisters and rashes, if a character touches the weed with bare flesh. Vigorous washing with cold, fresh water or milk can ease these symptoms. In rare cases, eating the weed can lead to death.
Kraken Blood Weed grows in profusion around Gloamhold and the ruins of Greystone.
