Start Small on Something Big

I love this idea.

The allure of a big project, the next Big Thing, is intoxicating. But it can also be daunting or even terrifying. Sure, I can write the words, but I can't do the maps, and I don't want to do the stat blocks. My art skills are terrible, and my marketing prowess is almost as bad. Gah!

Big projects can be scary.

The solution is simple: start small. If you try to do everything at once, you'll fail—you might not even start, so daunting is your mountainous to-do list.

Ignore the big picture. Focus on something small. Draft the project's outline. Write the introduction. Recruit a new team member. Sketch a map.

Start small.
